You fell in love with the Mozambique-made Capulana Bags...well, now we are pleased to introduce Capulana Dresses, made from - what else? - Capulanas (colorful, washable African fabrics)! Designed for young girls, ages 1-8, 100% of the proceeds from these dresses goes to the village of Mucatine to help the Agricultural Association purchase a produce truck and utility vehicle so locals can transport their produce to market.
Capulana Dresses are the second phase of a partnership the women of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, Tenn., share with their prayer partners and friends in Mucatine. During the first phase of the partnership, approximately 3,000 Capulana Bags were sold with a goal of purchasing the village's first truck. The truck was delivered to Mucatine on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Praise God!
